└── a blog about my journey to software engineer

I’m Charlotte, a San Francisco-based new grad with a bachelor’s degree in philosophy from the University of Miami.

I was born in Los Angeles, grew up in Colorado, highschool-ed in San Diego and spent my undergrad years in Portland, Oregon and Miami. San Francisco was home in 2017 and has been since graduation in December 2019.

I was laid off at the beginning of the COVID-19 pandemic and decided it was the perfect time to make a career change. The world of software engineering had been of interest for years and something I pursued by way of several online and in-person courses. And now was the time to go for it. A 12-week software engineering bootcamp with General Assembly later, and here I am! Reach out to me, check out my Github, LinkedIn, and resume. I'd love to hear about any oppotunities!
